Spider Mites

Spider Mites are tiny insects that feed on new growth and sometimes even fruit. There are many different species of spider mites, and, while they do come in a variety of colors, it is often difficult to identify them with the naked eye.

Symptoms:

Mites feed by inserting their mouth parts into leaf cells to suck out the contents, the individual spots initially look white, giving the leaves a stippled appearance. Severe infestations can cause leaf drop, low yields, and poor tree health.
