1. Cotton Anthracnose

Cotton Anthracnose pathogen belongs to imperfect fungi subphylum. Sexual state is small clum of cotton shell Glomerella goss. Anthrax in cotton seedling disease, causing seedling blight.

Symptoms

Cotton anthracnose could be occur each growth stage, seedling and boll stage will be most damaged.
1. Seedling: after germination, seedling disease can cause pre-emergence rotten kind of victimization, not unearthed and death. Seeding emergence, stem base appear reddish-brown to purple-brown streak, after expanding brown, slightly sunken, sever dehyrathion diastema, lodging seedling death. 2. Cotton Greensickness

Cotton Greensickness is caused by Verticillium wilt pathogens (Verticillium albicans and Verticillium dahliae). Mainly damages the stems, branches and leaves of cotton. The disease spreads widely, including cottonseed, diseased plant residues, soil, fertilizer and water, agricultural tools and other media. In the light cases, the leaves turn green and yellow, the buds fall off, and the yield is seriously reduced.

Symptoms:

Cultivation, from about 1 months after planting, symptoms occured on the ground part, the disease will be last until the end of the harvest. Firstly, the lower leaves partial wilting, leaf side curly. 2-3 days later, disease from yellowish white to yellow. Leaf margin discolor more, the veins as the center is wedge-shape. Next discolored parts gradually expanded, the whole piece of leaf yellowing, browning die slowly. Disease exacerbations, upper leaves were dead and lead to lower leaf chronic wilt. Therefore, plant height will be shorter, fruit set and growth significantly affected.

3. Cotton Sheath Blight

Cotton Blight also known as rot root and black root disease, which caused by the infection of Rhizoctonia solani. From the germination of cotton seeds, cotton blight can infect and harm.

Symptoms:

1. After sowning, the germs infect the young roots and buds underground, which will result in rotten seeds and buds.

2. After seedling, the symptoms firstly appeared at the base of the young stems near the ground. It shown that yellow-brown spots, which gradually expanded, sunken, and rotted. In severe cases, they could extend to the surrounding of the stems.

3. The diseased leaves have not special symptoms, but wither due to dehydration. While seedlings are damaged, irregular yellow-brown spots appear on the cotyledons, and finally the spots rupture and perforate. White hyphae often adhere to the affected cotton seedlings and the surrounding soil. In rainy years, the budding and flowering stage can also be damaged, with dark brown lesions at the base of the stem, rotted epidermis, exposed wood fibers, and severe cases can be broken and died. At the susceptible site, tumor-like lesions sometimes appear.

1. Cotton Bollworm

Bollworm, scientific name is Helicoverpa armigera(Hubner), synonym name is Heliothis armigera(Hubner), Lepidoptera Noctuidae. Damage soybean, peanut, cotton, rice, wheat etc. It is a worldwide agricultural insects, also is the dominant inset for the cotton planting area during the Cotton boll period.

Symptoms:

Larvae eat the leaves and harm notch, and damaged cotton bud will be yellow after open, there are wormholes in the bottom of damaged bud, size 5mm, aspheric, feces granular outside at bud. Bracts becomes brown after open and it will be shedding in 2-3days. And bollworm could eat up cotton leaves.

2. Cotton Aphid

Symptoms:
