Nematodes are highly adaptable organisms with strong reproductive capabilities, posing a significant threat to a wide range of crops, including cash crops, vegetables, fruit trees. With microscopic size, they are difficult to be observed by naked eye in the early stages of crop infection.
In recent years, growing environmental concerns and residue issues
have led to increasing restrictions on the use of chemical nematicides,
which resulted in more and more growers turned to focus on biological
control methods, such as using living microbial products to manage
nematodes.
However, many growers have reported that microbial products possess restrictions on both efficacy and storage stability while compared to traditional chemical nematicides, which is stem primarily from the fact that microbial products require specific climatic and soil conditions for optimal performance, coupled with complex storage requirements to preserve their viability. Consequently, nematode management is still a critical challenge for growers globally.
BIO CUTTM contains a range of highly active extracellular enzymes and microbial secondary metabolites which secreted by selectively cultured Bacillus strains. By disrupting the normal physiological processes of nematodes and rapidly dissolving their eggshells and cuticles, BIO CUTTM can effectively lead to the rapid death of nematodes.
BIO CUTTM is free from living microbial, ensuring stable quality, efficient efficacy, and rapid action. With a shelf life of up to two years, it offers convenient storage and transportation.
Biological way to fast control nematodes in 10 minutes!
Improving soil conditions and preventing the spread of soil-borne diseases.
Safe for seedlings and suitable for various crops.
Improving crop root health and increasing yields.
Nematodes can achieve rapid reproduction; therefore, it is important to take control measures at the optimal time.
In the field, nematode eggs or females overwinter in the soil. As the temperature warms up, the nematodes further develop into the second-instar larvae stage, invade the roots from the soil, and grow in the roots to produce egg cysts. When the cysts rupture, the eggs are released back into the soil, completing the growth cycle.
The infection period of the second-instar nematodes is very short - only 1 ~ 5 days!
Nematodes complete a reproductive cycle - only 20 ~ 30 days!
Nematodes can survive in the soil without host plants - up to 3 years!
The developmental window between the egg stage and second-instar larvae represents the most critical period for nematode control, occurring before these pests invade the cropping systems. This timing is strategically vital for two reasons: it prevents widespread crop damage, and it targets nematodes during their most vulnerable growth stage.
BIO CUTTM is specifically developed to target this critical period. Its contact action quickly eliminates nematodes from eggs to second-instar larvae in the soil, effectively preventing root invasion by nematodes. This targeted approach makes BIO CUTTM an ideal solution for early-stage nematode control.
As a purely biological nematode control solution, BIO CUTTM is proven to have superior safety in two key aspects:
BIO CUTTM is free of phytotoxicity to seedlings, making it highly suitable for use during the sensitive seedling stage for early prevention and better nematode control.
BIO CUTTM leaves no harmful residues and requires no safety interval, making it ideal for organic farming
Suitable for various crops, including vegetables, fruit trees, and others
